Carolyn Brantly, NP

Carolyn Brantly, FNP-C, practices primary and urgent care as a certified family nurse practitioner at South Shreveport Internal Medicine. Her commitment to partnering with patients, their families and their healthcare team allows her to deliver high-level care with empathy and respect to patients of all ages, ranging from young adults to geriatrics. She treats every individual with acute or chronic conditions with empathy and respect, just as she would a close family member or friend.

Born and raised on the North Carolina coast, Brantly began her education at Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. She started nursing practice as an SICU nurse in Willis-Knighton's transplant surgery unit and was an endoscopy nurse for many years. Brantly obtained her Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner from Northwestern State University and was certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2021.

Outside the clinic, Brantly can be found with her family – playing outdoors, attending their athletic events and traveling to fun destinations.
